Women’s Day Celebration on The 9th August 2018

The Belvedere Sai Centre’s Women’s Day Celebration On The 9th August 2018 At Ctvd Temple Hall, Tongaat, North Coast, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.

The Belvedere Sai Centre, together with the Chinna Thirupathi Venkteswara Devastham celebrated Women’s Day 2018 in grand style by hosting the ladies from sister organisations and other Sai Centres in the Region to an afternoon full of fun, relaxation and non-stop entertainment.

The event started at 2pm with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the opening prayer. The first half of the programme included an address by the President of Belvedere Sai Centre. He highlighted the important role played not only in the Centre, but in the community at large. This was followed by a powerpoint presentation of the various initiatives done by the Ladies Wing of Sai Centre.

The guest speaker had the ladies in total awe. He stressed the importance of the role Ladies play in the Family, Local Community and in Spiritual and Religious Organisations. Thereafter, the Ladies began an activity in which they had to decorate a used CD with recyclable beads. This turned out to be such a fun activity as the ladies tried to showcase their creative talent.

In between all of the activities, there were a few lucky draws with some amazing prizes being given away. The final act for the day was a local comedian who had the ladies in stitches with laughter for the hour he was on the stage. He had the ladies well entertained with his witty humour and his throwback to past activities that brought huge smiles to everyone in the audience. The afternoon ended with high tea being served by the men from the centre using side plates designed by the Ladies during their weekly Tuesday Classes at the Centre.

"The main objective of the Sathya Sai Organization ... is to help you recognize the divinity inherent in you. So, your duty is to emphasize the One, to experience the One in all you do or speak. Do not give importance to differences of religion, sect, status, or color. Have the feeling of one-ness permeate all your acts. Only those who do so have a place in this Organization; the rest can withdraw."
