Southern Suburbs Sai Centre Service activity on 22 April 2018 at the Ebeneza Hannah Home, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
This Service (seva) activity commenced at 09h00am with elaborate lunch preparations. This was later followed with a visit to the Ebenezer Hannah Home which is a multiracial, non-profit organization caring for underprivileged children and destitute old folk. The home was started in 1992 by Pastor Thomas and his wife, Shirley Merime.
30 service workers (sevadals) started the activity with prayer and serving a hot meal to all 75 recipients. After which all the children were very excited to get their faces painted by the Young Adults. The Ladies Wing of the Sai Centre engaged with all the ladies at this Home teaching them how to arm knit. The male sevadals assisted the Home with the painting of a wall. This well planned and beautifully executed Seva Activity concluded at 15h00 with much gratitude.
