Mother Easwaramma Seva 6 May 2018

The Sathya Sai Centre of Umhlatuzana in Chatsworth region 2, Offered a Seva to Swami on 6 May 2018 At the Bangladesh market, Chatsworth, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.

The ladies wing initiated a pop up shop seva activity, where clothing was distributed to the less fortunate. This was done in Commemoration of Mother Easwaramma day 2018. This seva activity began as early as the 15 April 2018 when Devotees from the Umhlatuzana Sai Centre began to sort out the collected second hand clothing. This exercise was meticulously carried out to ensure that the clothing was in a clean, neat and presentable condition for the distribution to the recipients. On 28 April 2018, flyers containing information of the pop-up shop were distributed in and around the Bangladesh Market area advising people of this seva activity. On 6 may 2018, about 20 sevadals from the Umhlatuzana Sai Centre met at the Bangladesh Market area at approximately 9:00am to set up for the distribution of the clothing collected. The distribution began around 10:00am and was handed out to approximately 60 recipients who were in dire need of some clothing. The happiness and gratitude expressed by the recipients warmed our hearts. This seva concluded by midday on a joyous note.

"The main objective of the Sathya Sai Organization ... is to help you recognize the divinity inherent in you. So, your duty is to emphasize the One, to experience the One in all you do or speak. Do not give importance to differences of religion, sect, status, or color. Have the feeling of one-ness permeate all your acts. Only those who do so have a place in this Organization; the rest can withdraw."
