Bayview Library Seva 21 April 2018

A Seva Offering to Swami on 21 April 2018 at the Bayview Library, Chatsworth, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.

An interesting seva activity was undertaken by a group of sevadals from the Umhlatuzana Sai Centre. All met at the Bayview Library that morning at 10H00. They assisted a dedicated team to enhance the reading skills of children coming from a less fortunate background. A few of the sevadals engaged in playing a game of chess with the children who are also being taught how to play chess. Meals that were prepared by the Woodhurst and Moorton Sai Centres were lovingly offered for distribution at this Seva Activity. This was served to the children at midday. Some snacks were also handed out to the children. These where snacks that these children do not often receive. The enthusiasm of these children receiving the reading assistance was amazing and extremely heart lifting. Their willingness to learn and their eagerness to show us what they had learnt touched everyone immensely. The 20 sevadals and about 40 children created an amazing energy of Sai Love which embraced everyone making.

"The main objective of the Sathya Sai Organization ... is to help you recognize the divinity inherent in you. So, your duty is to emphasize the One, to experience the One in all you do or speak. Do not give importance to differences of religion, sect, status, or color. Have the feeling of one-ness permeate all your acts. Only those who do so have a place in this Organization; the rest can withdraw."
