Launch of Creative Home Management Course – Palmridge, Jhb

On 27 April 2016 the CHM course was launched in Palmridge Jhb. The theme of the launch was ”Each one teach one” in keeping with Bhagawan’s expectation of us, to share whatever skills we have or have learned. The Jhb seva team, working together with the Jhb region ladies, introduced the program to the Palmridge community. Khayelitsha Devotional Group - Western Cape

With Swami’s bountiful blessings, a divine couple by the names of Brother Bulelani and Sister Nozi have started a devotional Sai group in the township setting of Khayelitsha (Xhosa term meaning ‘new home’) in the Western Cape region. They are long standing devotees who live by Swami’s teachings in their daily lives. National Water Project

Due to a record low in rainfall in South Africa, 5 of the 9 provinces have been declared disaster (drought) areas, The SSIOSA also partnered with the Gift of the Givers in a drive to collect bottled water and distribute to the disaster struck areas. Devotees rallied together in this drive throughout the country. This project was started around the 11 November 2015 and to date 15 000 people have been served with in excess of 150 000 litres of clean water supported by a volunteer base of 300 volunteers coun-try wide. Wingate Ladies Initiative in Gauteng

Just prior to Swami’s 90th birthday the Wingate Ladies forum in Gauteng held a Ladies Skill Workshop. A total of 14 hampers were made which consisted of a Baby blanket, bib, bonnet, booties, bottle warmer, baby lotion, powder, shampoo, oil, vaseline and a hand-made gift for mum. The hamper items were sewn by the ladies at their centre . As a special offering these hampers were handed to theOlivenhoutbosch Development Association. The program consisted of Vedam chanting, Bhajan, a drama entitled “I am I” and a musical of songs in English, Zulu and Sanskrit.
